O MTV Video Music Awards 2025 ocorre ontem à noite, contando com LL Cool J como anfitrião e com performances de artistas como Doja Cat, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey e Sabrina Carpenter, atingiu o maior nível de audiência em seis anos com sua mudança para a CBS.
Assistida por mais de 5,5 milhões de espectadores, segundo o Nielsen Live+SD Fast National Data, a premiação, que foi transmitida simultaneamente pela MTV e pela Paramount+, atingiu um recorde de público não visto desde 2019.
A audiência aumentou 42% em relação à exibição do ano passado, que atraiu mais de 4 milhões de espectadores. Dessa forma, o evento garantiu o primeiro lugar no ranking de entretenimento da noite, superando a exibição do jogo de futebol americano do Sunday Night Football.
O evento também marcou o especial de entretenimento mais assistido na CBS desde o Grammy Awards, realizado em 2 de fevereiro.
